I don't think it will work for you but I go on "browser" on Deviantart and I flood "*please visit my gallery*" on any random picture to get people to visit my gallery lol, it 99% of the time works. But it may be different for you because people somehow like my details. So give it a try but I'm not sure if the same trick works.
I have around 9000 people visited my site, if it wasn't for that trick, it would be around 1000...
